انا كان عمري 13 سنة
I was 13 years old
طلبت من ابوي يشتري لي ماكنة خياطة
I asked my father to buy me a sewing machine
وبلشت اتعلم لحالي خياطة، لحالي
And I started learning sewing by myself, by myself
والله فتت على مجال الخياطة
By God, I fell into the field of sewing

Maybe when I was in fourth grade, actually
فتح نادي بالبلد
A club opened in the town
وفتت وهيك تعلمت شوي
And I fell into it and so I learned a bit
بما انه كنا بعدنا بالمدارس
Since we were still in school
