اليوم بدي خبركن شوي عن أنا شو عملت
Today I want to tell you a bit about what I did
مبارح وقبل مبارح،
yesterday and the day before yesterday,
شو صار معي
what happened to me
وأنا وين هلق.
and where I am now.
من يومين، يعني نهار التلاتا الصبح،
Two days ago, meaning Tuesday morning,
أنا سافرت.
I traveled.
شو يعني سافرت؟
What does it mean I traveled?
يعني أنا كنت ببلد بلبنان،
Meaning I was in a country, in Lebanon,
ببلدي أنا لبنان،
in my country, Lebanon,
وسافرت وإجيت هلق على بلد تاني
and I traveled and came now to another country
لي هو روسيا.
which is Russia.
يعني أنا هلق مش بلبنان،
Meaning I'm not in Lebanon now,
أنا بروسيا.
I'm in Russia.
وإجيت لهون يعني فجأة
And I came here suddenly,
بسبب الحرب،
because of the war,
يعني بسبب الوضع بلبنان.
meaning because of the situation in Lebanon.
هلق يمكن انتو بتعرفوا
Now maybe you know
أو ما بتعرفوا،
or you don't know,
في حرب بلبنان
there is a war in Lebanon
والوضع مش كتير منيح وكتير صعب.
and the situation is not very good and very difficult.
فعشان هيك أنا سافرت لهون،
So that's why I traveled here,
أنا مع ابني.
me with my son.
وأنا يعني بحب كتير إجي لهون
And I really love coming here
على روسيا،
to Russia,
بس أنا ما كان بدي سافر هلق،
but I didn't want to travel now,
لأنو هلق هون في كتير برد.
because now here it is very cold.
هون الطقس كتير بارد
Here the weather is very cold
وكتير غير عن لبنان.
and very different from Lebanon.
يعني بلبنان الأسبوع الماضي
Meaning in Lebanon last week

والحرارة كانت شي عشرين بالنهار،
and the temperature was like twenty during the day,
وهون وصلنا لهون من يومين

تلج والحرارة يمكن كانت ناقص واحد
Snow and the temperature was maybe minus one
أو ناقص تنين.
or minus two.
فهيدا الشي كتير صعب يعني.
So this thing is very difficult, I mean.
بس مش مشكلة، شو بدنا نعمل؟
But no problem, what can we do?
في ظروف هلق
There are circumstances now
وعشان هيك نحن مضطرين إنو نسافر.
and that's why we are forced to travel.
هلق أنا هون وين أنا؟
Now I'm here, where am I?
أنا ببيت خيي.
I'm at my brother's house.
وخيي عايش هون بموسكو من زمان،
And my brother has been living here in Moscow for a while,
يمكن من شي عشرين سنة.
maybe for like twenty years.
وهو عايش هون، بيشتغل هون.
And he lives here, he works here.
بس أنا ما رح إبقى هون ببيت خيي،
But I'm not going to stay here at my brother's house,
اليوم أنا بدي روح على مدينة تانية،
today I want to go to another city,
وهنيك بالمدينة التانية بيت خالتي.
and there in the other city is my aunt's house.
خالتي وستي وجوز خالتي وولادها.
My aunt, my grandmother, my aunt's husband, and her children.
فهلق أنا رح فرجيكن شوي الفيو
So now I'm going to show you a bit of the view
من هون من بيت خيي،
from here from my brother's house,
ويلا خلينا نشوف.
and let's go see.
هيدا الفيو من بيت خيي،
This is the view from my brother's house,
كتير كتير حلو.
very, very nice.
نحن هون على الطابق الواحد وعشرين،
We are here on the twenty-first floor,
عشان هيك نحن كتير عاليين عن الأرض.
that's why we are very high above the ground.
ومثل ما شايفين تحت في كتير سيارات،
And as you can see below there are many cars,
وفي سيارة هلق عم تمشي،
and there is a car now moving,
وفي شخص كمان عم يمشي ع الطريق،
and there is a person also walking on the road,
أكتر من شخص،
more than one person,
في كتير ناس عم يمشوا ع الطريق.
there are many people walking on the road.
وهون ع الشمال في مدرسة لونها أورونج،
And here on the left there is a school, its color orange,
وفي ألعاب كمان تحت للولاد.
and there are games also below for the kids.
وهنيك بالوج، يعني بوجهي،
And there in the face, meaning in front of me,
في بيوت كتير حلوين.
there are very nice houses.
كمان بوجهي، يعني ورا البيوت،
Also in front of me, meaning behind the houses,
في غابة.
there is a forest.
مثل ما عم بتشوفوا في كتير شجر،
As you can see there are many trees,
وهيدي غابة،
and this is a forest,
الناس بتروح لهنيك تتمشى،
people go there to walk,
يعني بتمشي مع عيلتها،
meaning they walk with their family,
مع ولادها، مع أصحابها.
with their kids, with their friends.
وهيدا هو الفيو من هون،
And this is the view from here,
كتير كتير حلو صراحة.
very, very nice honestly.
وهلق مبارح كان في كتير تلج،
And now yesterday there was a lot of snow,
ما بعرف هلق إذا قادرين تشوفوا،
I don't know now if you can see,
في شوي تلج ع الأرض
there is a bit of snow on the ground
على جنب الطريق،
on the side of the road,
بس هلق دابوا اليوم
but now it melted today
لأنو الحرارة اليوم
because the temperature today
صارت فوق الصفر،

عشان هيك داب كل شي
that's why everything melted
وما في تلج هلق اليوم.

وبالنسبة للرحلة،
And regarding the trip,
لرحلتنا من لبنان على روسيا،
for our trip from Lebanon to Russia,
أكيد كانت بالطيارة،
it was definitely by plane,
وكانت كتير صعبة وكتير طويلة.
and it was very difficult and very long.

عادةً من لبنان على روسيا
Usually from Lebanon to Russia
ما بتاخد الرحلة كتير وقت
the trip doesn't take much time
لأنو روسيا مش كتير بعيدة عن لبنان.
because Russia is not very far from Lebanon.
عادةً بالطيارة بتاخد شي تلات
Usually by plane it takes like three
أو أربع ساعات،
or four hours,
بس هلق بسبب الحرب
but now because of the war
بين روسيا وأوكرانيا،
between Russia and Ukraine,
الطيارة الروسية ما بتقدر تطير
the Russian plane cannot fly
فوق أوكرانيا،
over Ukraine,
عشان هيك بتصير الرحلة أطول
that's why the trip becomes longer
وبتصير توتال يمكن شي
and it becomes total maybe like
تمان ساعات أو تسع ساعات.
eight hours or nine hours.
هلق أنا ما بعرف قديه رح إبقى هون،
Now I don't know how long I will stay here,
كل شي بيعتمد على الوضع بلبنان،
everything depends on the situation in Lebanon,
يعني حسب الوضع بلبنان.
meaning according to the situation in Lebanon.
إذا كان الوضع بلبنان منيح،
If the situation in Lebanon is good,
نحن ممكن نرجع،
we might return,
وإذا كان الوضع بلبنان مش منيح،
and if the situation in Lebanon is not good,
نحن رح نبقى هون.
we will stay here.
وكمان بتمنى أو إنو ان شاء الله
And also I hope, or God willing,
نحن نكون مرتاحين هون،
we will be comfortable here,
وان شاء الله أنا إقدر إشتغل منيح.
and God willing I will be able to work well.
