We used to go to the synagogue. There were a few synagogues in Aleppo

أنا كنت أروح لكنيس تبع الجميلية والشماش (الشاويش)

I used to go to the synagogue of Al-Jamiliya and the Shamash (the officer)

أو شموش بيسموه حياه. كانوا يسموا الكنيس على اسمه كنيسة حياه

وصاحب الفرن اسمه تشرو. فرن تشرو. هاجر لأمريكا بعدين

And the bakery owner's name was Chero. Chero Bakery. He migrated to America later
