How was life in Beirut? How was the transition to Beirut?

بيروت عظيمة. نحن كنا بنعرف لبنان لأنه كنا بالصيف نجي نصيّف بلبنان

Beirut was great. We knew Lebanon because we used to come in summer to spend summer in Lebanon

كل سنه كنا نجي نصيّف بلبنان. لبنان ما كانت غريبة علينا

Every year we used to come to spend summer in Lebanon. Lebanon wasn't strange to us

نحن كنا كثير نجي نصيّف في لبنان. فيه ضيعة كانت اسمها فالوغة

We used to come a lot to spend summer in Lebanon. There was a village called Falougha

وبعدين صرنا نصيّف في محلّ اسمه بحمدون وعاليه

And then we started spending summer in a place called Bhamdoun and Aley

في بحمدون وفي عاليه. والعيشة كانت عظيمة

In Bhamdoun and in Aley. And the living was great

عيشة لبنان، مش لبنان تبع اليوم
