أنا فتت على كنيس ماغن أبراهام
I went to Magen Abraham Synagogue
لما كان عمري 18 سنة.
when I was 18 years old.
كان ايمتى؟ رأس السنة، يوم الغفران.
When was it? Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur.
ما عندهم حزان (إمام صلاة).
They didn't have a Hazzan (Prayer Imam).
بدأت أزمة في بيروت مع الشوام،
A crisis started in Beirut with the Shamis,
وما كان هناك أئمة.
and there were no Imams there.
بيتلفنوا لي، ما كان تلفون!
They call me, there was no phone!
بعتوا لي الخدام.
They sent me the servant.
