فأنا تلاميذي أغلبهم عم يتعلموا عربي
So my students most of them are learning Arabic
because they married an Arab person,
فهن بدهم يحكوا بس مع هيدا الشخص
so they want to speak only with this person
بلغته، باللهجة اللبنانية، أو مع عيلته،
in his language, in the Lebanese dialect, or with his family,
يعني عيلة زوجهم، أو نحن بنقول بيت عمهم،
I mean his family, or we say his uncle's house,
يعني أنا عندي لنقول عندي تلميذة،
I mean I have let's say I have a student,
فهي زوجها، بي زوجها اسمه بيكون عمها،
so her husband, her husband's name would be her uncle,
نحن بنقول عمها، فاذر إن لو،
we say her uncle, father-in-law,
her uncle I mean not her brother,
her uncle I mean her husband's father.
فعشان هيك نحن بنقول بيت عمها،
So that's why we say his uncle's house,
يعني إن لوز، أوكي؟ بيت عمها.
I mean in-laws, okay? His uncle's house.
So this is the student and others
عم يتعلموا عربي لأنه بدهم يحكوا
are learning Arabic because they want to speak
مع بيت عمهم باللهجة اللبنانية،
with his uncle's house in the Lebanese dialect,
لأنه بيت عمهم ما بيحكوا بالإنجليزي،
because his uncle's house doesn't speak in English,
فلازم هي تتعلم لغتهم وهيك.
so she needs to learn their language and so on.
